Teaching Strategy

You possibly know the Chinese proverb:

“Give me a fish and I eat for a day.

Teach me to fish and I eat for a lifetime.”

Fishing lessons does not mean to have a map and a marine atlas and head to the sea. Some programs go to the extreme in distance learning and send you some directions and reading materials, and leave you on your own. No wonder that few can conclude their studies in their competitive daily tasks that usually take priority while you are learning at a distance. No wonder that drop outs become the norm in most of distance learning programs because of the lack of engagement and motivation. Promoting self-directed learning needs also
some mentorship and may be tutorials to clarify new concepts and familiarize you with common terminology to understand the language of the medical education folks. Busy professionals need some guidance, particularly while sailing to unknown waters.

The medical education program at Cambridge KIPP is 100% based on distance learning. There is a common problem with distance learning. The learners feels isolated and usually does not proceed till the end of the program because of lack of ongoing academic support, with no contact with peers, as compared to face-to-face study.

At Cambridge KIPP, you can study medical education at your pace, but you will never feel lonely again, because we have developed a solution for that.

When you enroll in the program, you will be connected with your peers and tutor every week in an online session where you motivate each other’s and may be work in groups in between the sessions.

Weekly motivational sessions are scheduled (one for each study unit) to clarify misconceptions and help participants to pursue their own self-directed learning. You will have a credible and enjoyable learning experience.
